Since 2016 I have been deep in the trenches coaching Australian's - helping them achieve body transformations and increase their daily performance. 

I help by paying attention to my clients workout methods, nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation. 

I also like testing new methods of nutrition or supplements to see if it can achieve better body composition, fat loss or weight loss results. 

At the end of 2023 some of my audience was interested in how I was staying in shape and how I was using intermittent fasting and my coffee to help lose weight. 

Due to the interest I asked who would be interested in a 14 day weight loss program that included coffee and the frame work of intermittent fasting to help them lose weight. 

I hand selected 10 people, created the 14 day mini shred program and here's a few of their results and feedback:

So what makes this program different? I am going to share some practical tips if you want to do this yourself. 

Coffee that helps weight loss goals

In the 14 day mini shred program each member used coffee in the morning with some added ingredients to help cravings, focus, muscle retention - all without the jitters.

But at this time we were just testing the concept and didn't have convenient access to our own product. 

Here's what we added into our morning coffee cup:

✅ Collagen protein - Helps your cravings, muscle retention 

✅ Electrolytes - Helps your endurance, hydrate and decrease jitters

✅ African mango powder - Helps your cravings while dieting 

We also used the power of intermittent fasting 16:8 method, having 2 of these coffees in the morning before feeding. (16 hours of fasting, 8 hours eating window) 

I created a nutrition plan that had enough protein, was lower carbohydrate and moderate health fats. 

All of which help muscle retention, cravings, energy and productivity. 

Now yes, for you traditional fasting people out there - because the coffee includes protein it 'breaks' the fast - HOWEVER I like having protein every 3-5 hours for lean muscle maintenance. So we modified the fast. Also hitting your daily protein target with I.F. can be quite hard to do in the eating window. 

I like modified fasting as it helps protein synthesis, prevents muscle catabolism and from my experience is better for body composition goals. 

We also combined the coffee and diet with a exercise routine. 

Some of the community trained at home while others trained at the gym. 

We made a simple effective workout that can be done at home or at the gym that promotes EPOC (exercise post oxygen consumption), strength training (For lean muscle gain and exercise structure that helped fast track fat loss. 

All of the participants had above average weight loss, losing between 3-7kg in 14 days.

The feedback was also great as they mention it was a easy habit they could sustain long term after the 14 day challenge. 

In short, this was a great program for weight loss goals for most general public.
